Call for Abstracts
The 5th Annual Embedded Systems Conference-Taiwan (ESC-Taiwan 2005)
Exhibitors at ESC-Taiwan are given the opportunity to present the latest embedded systems to Taiwan's engineers, helping them to choose the appropriate design methodologies, tools and technologies.

ESC-Taiwan offers an excellent forum to discuss design trends and solutions for embedded, telecommunications and portable systems. Participants may present technical papers on a number of topics, including:

What we are looking for:
  • Technically challenging presentations that provide better understanding of processes and techniques
  • Practical information that can be put to use back in the workplace
  • How-to classes that ease the development process
(Note: Mandarin Chinese speakers are preferred but not mandatory)

Presentation fees per 50-minute time slot:
US$ 1,000.00 for exhibiting companies
US$ 2,200.00 for non-exhibiting companies

Each speaker will be provided:
  • A fully appointed seminar room that can accommodate 100-150 persons
  • Sound system
  • Video projection system and screen
  • Directional signage
  • Complimentary abstract listing in the Preview Program
  • Complimentary abstract listing in the Show Guide
  • Complimentary invitation materials
  • Complimentary speaker services, on-site advertising and sponsorship opportunities

Abstract submission requirements
Approximately 150-words clearly stating the topic of your proposed session and a brief outline of the contents. Include a paper title of no more than eight words. Each abstract should be suitable for publication. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference catalog.
Approximately 80-word biography on your professional background and education.
Include the name, company, mailing address, e-mail address, phone and fax number of each author, and a marketing contact if applicable. If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, please include the full contact information of the proposed speaker. If you wish to be copied on correspondence, note it in the abstract.

Paper requirements
It will be the responsibility of the presenting company to print their own presentation handouts/materials and distribute them during their oral presentations.
